So I like photography. I always did. My poor Dad would very kindly develop roll after roll of film when I was a kid with my simple point and shoot. And then again when I got a SLR as a teenager. Lots of my pictures back then were terrible. And truthfully, lots of my pictures today still are, although the fact they are digital files makes them easier to manage. And forget (i.e. delete).
I don't like being late for appointments. I always tell the border guards just how much I'm returning to Canada with. I pay bills on time. But I'm not a stickler for "rules" when it comes to creative types of things. I never allow for proper seam allowances, let alone press them... Which probably explains my many failed sewing creations. My sister can attest to a pair of pajama pants I whipped up without a pattern. They looked like hammer pants, and neither of us could get our legs through the lower leg part because I tapered it way too small. It provided a good laugh, at least. I know I could probably be a better novice photographer if I considered white balance/aperture/depth-of-field more than I do, but meh. Maybe one day. But for now, I just enjoy getting out and about with a camera in tow. Sometimes I get a good shot, sometimes it looks like poop (aaaand then I delete the latter).
Any hoo, now and again I'll post some pics, mostly to share the link on Facebook because I hate giving FB the rights to my pictures. I know, I know, *IRONY ALERT* I'm doing the same on blogger. But for now, in my eyes, it's one step above FB...
